Education/Awareness
Education, training, and awareness activities are main components of a comprehensive, data-driven coalition that empowers community members to play a crucial role in prevention. By increasing knowledge and understanding of the root causes and local conditions contributing to the issues in the community, we increase the coalition’s capacity to implement effective environmental strategies.
Our coalition is tasked to bring awareness, education and training opportunities to the community, with special emphasis to the 12-community sectors.

Town Hall Meetings
Town Hall meetings foster open dialogue, awareness and collaborative problem solving. These meetings often bring together a diverse group of individuals that collectively address local conditions related to the use of substances. Town Hall meetings often serve as a launching point for sustained prevention efforts and increase transparency that helps build trust from the community.
Our coalition is tasked to provide Town Hall meetings to local communities to address various priorities: underage drinking, marijuana and illicit drugs. Each year, towns around Atlantic County are providing these forums to their local community members.
